TWO TROPHY BULL ELK KILLED AND LEFT TO WASTE

On the morning of December 3, 2007, two 6 x 6 bull elk were shot and left in the Toll Gate area of the Judith River Game Range.  The trophy bulls were shot approximately 100 yards from the road and left to waste.  There was no attempt made by the shooter to retrieve the bulls.  Each bull was shot once and the bullets have been recovered and sent to the Montana Crime Lab in Missoula.

Anyone who may have information regarding this matter is urged to call Judith Basin Crime Stoppers at 1-800-470-6107.  A reward of up to $500 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect in this case.  Callers can remain anonymous if they wish.
