Our officers will respond to animal control calls in which the animal is causing an unsafe condition. This includes livestock or other animals on public roads,
vicious dogs, or other hazardous incidents. Control of domestic animals within the limits of an incorporated town are handled by the office
of the Mayor.

Feral cats are another problem in most rural areas
such as ours. Judith Basin County does not have an animal
shelter, and although there are many people who are trying to manage
